Maharashtra United Nations Association observed UN Charter Day on 26 June 2010 at 6:30pm at Indian Merchant's Chamber, churchgate Mumbai.

The programmed was well attended by the diplomats of various countries, students, and people from legal fraternity, students, academia, journalism, members of MUNA and other distinguished guests.

Adv. Dilip Shinde spoke about Human Rights and public interest litigations,

Mr. Daniel Bood Consul, Political and Economic Affairs of Canada Consulate in Mumbai spoke about functioning of UN and highlighted the role of Canada in UN.

Consul General of Spain in Mumbai explained the role of UN in maintaining Security and Peace in the World.

Our Executive Chairperson Ms. Mohini Mathur welcomed the guests and spoke about activities of MUNA. Mr. A.A. Syed gave Vote of Thanks.

Mr. Z.A.Siddiqui and Mr. Bandookwala presented flowers to the guests and Adv. Ashraf Ahmed Shaikh Compared the formal programme.

Programme was followed by High Tea.
