UN Charter Day was observed on Wednesday, 26 June 2002 at Y.B. Chavan Centre Convention Hall at 6pm.

The Hon’ble Mr. Justice H.L.Gokhale of Mumbai High Court was the Chief Guest and he presided over this function.
The guest speakers were Mr. Douglas Paterson, Consul and Trade Commissioner of Canada and Mr. Gopi Menon, State Representative of UNICEF. The Welcome Address was delivered by Executive Chairperson, Ms. Mohini Mathur. The Role of MUNA was explained by Mr. K.M.Abraham, Vice President. The guest speakers were introduced by Mr. M. Balachandran, Mr. Zaka Siddiqui and Dr. G.N.Chainani of MUNA.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. A.A.Syed.

Refreshments were served after the formal programme.
