Foot Prints – International Summit on Environment

Footprints is a series of annual media seminars organized by the students of SIMC, across 23 cities pan India and in the international cities of Dubai, Mauritius, Singapore and Colombo. The Mumbai edition of the event in collaboration with Maharashtra United Nations Association, was being organised on the 15th of November 2009 from 10AM onwards, at Rangasharda Auditorium, Bandra Reclamation,Mumbai.
The theme of 2009 of the event was 'New Media Evolution & the Green Battle'
The media stalwarts and green crusaders, of each of the cities congregate to discuss the changes in media trends and the future role of media, at this event.
57 media colleges from all across the city of Mumbai would be participating in this event in various competitions and discussions. The event is to be witnessed by an all student audience of 800+.

The programme was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Chandra Krishnamurthy, Vice Chancellor SNDT Women’s University & Acting VC, University of Mumbai, Professor. Ujjwal Kumar Chowdhury, Dean SIU and Director SIMC ,Ms. Mohini Mathur, Executive Chairperson, Maharashtra United Nations Association,Mr. A A Sayed, Secretary General - Maharashtra United Nations Association, and  Advocate Ashraf Ahmed Shaikh - Honorary Secretary - Maharashtra United Nations Association.
